CAS number: 516-12-1
N-iodosuccinimide is a five-membered cyclic dicarboximide compound having an iodo substituent on the nitrogen atom. It is a dicarboximide and a pyrrolidinone. It is functionally related to a succinimide.
CAS number: 517-28-2
(+)-haematoxylin is a haematoxylin. It is an enantiomer of a (-)-haematoxylin.
CAS number: 518-28-5
Podophyllotoxin is an aryltetralin-type lignan isolated from species of Podophyllum. Two most common sources are the rhizomes of Podophyllum peltatum (American mayapple) and Sinopodophyllum hexandrum Royle (Barberry family).
CAS number: 518-55-8
Alpha-Conidendrin is a lignan. It has a role as a metabolite.
CAS number: 51869-30-8
3-Amino-2,3,6-trideoxy-L-ribo-hexose is a specific type of sugar molecule. It's a deoxy sugar, meaning it has fewer oxygen atoms than a typical hexose (a 6-carbon sugar). It's also an amino sugar, containing an amino group (-NH2) at the 3rd carbon.
CAS number: 519-23-3
Ellipticine is a organic heterotetracyclic compound that is pyrido[4,3-b]carbazole carrying two methyl substituents at positions 5 and 11. It has a role as an antineoplastic agent and a plant metabolite. It is an organic heterotetracyclic compound, an organonitrogen heterocyclic compound, a polycyclic heteroarene and an indole alkaloid.
CAS number: 520-18-3
Kaempferol is a tetrahydroxyflavone in which the four hydroxy groups are located at positions 3, 5, 7 and 4'. Acting as an antioxidant by reducing oxidative stress, it is currently under consideration as a possible cancer treatment. It has a role as an antibacterial agent, a plant metabolite, a human xenobiotic metabolite, a human urinary metabolite, a human blood serum metabolite and a geroprotector. It is a member of flavonols, a 7-hydroxyflavonol and a tetrahydroxyflavone. It is a conjugate acid of a kaempferol oxoanion.
CAS number: 520-33-2
Hesperetin is a trihydroxyflavanone having the three hydroxy gropus located at the 3'-, 5- and 7-positions and an additional methoxy substituent at the 4'-position. It has a role as an antioxidant, an antineoplastic agent and a plant metabolite.
CAS number: 5209-18-7
1,3-Diphenylpropane is an aromatic compound. 1,3-Diphenylpropene isomers are used in organic synthesis as the starting substrates and model compounds.
(1E,2E)-1,2-Ethanedione 1,2-dioxime, also known as diacetyl dioxime or dimethylglyoxime. Structurally, it consists of a central ethane backbone bearing two oxime groups (=C=NOH) at each carbon of the diketone moiety, with both oxime bonds in the E (trans) configuration. It typically appears as a pale yellow crystalline solid that is sparingly soluble in water but soluble in alcohols and organic solvents. It is best known for its ability to selectively form bright red chelate complexes with nickel(II) ions, making it a widely used analytical reagent in gravimetric and qualitative analysis of nickel. Its chelating properties stem from the two oxime nitrogen atoms, which coordinate tightly to metal centers.
