Compound: Ritonavir
Answer
Ritonavir is an HIV protease inhibitor, indicated in combination with other antiretroviral agents for treating HIV-1 infection. It was first approved by the FDA in March 1996. The drug targets nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group I member 2 and HIV type 1 protease, activating the former and inhibiting the latter. It is expected that the drug might inhibit COVID-19 protease, with a ligand protein interaction dock score of 7.0 kcal/mol. Its dock score was 7.0.
