2,3-Diphenylacrylonitrile is a type of organic compound also known as α-cyanostilbene or α-(phenylmethylene)benzeneacetonitrile. It is characterized by a nitrile group and two phenyl rings attached to an acrylonitrile core. Research has identified it and its derivatives as having antiproliferative (anti-cancer) properties, and it's even been found in natural products like the Persian Gulf Sea Cucumber, Holothuria parva.
